2- There is no need to purchase the shopping cart software.
3- You don’t need to Setup a Secure SSL.
Paypal handles it through their Secure site, so your clients information would be confidential.
4- You don’t have to pay for a third party online transaction processing company neither.
5- Paypal will allow your customers to use visa, MC, and Amex.
The cost of transaction via Paypal is 2.9% +0.30 USD per transaction as of June 25, 2010. I suggest to sign up with Paypal Merchant because it takes them some time to approve you.
